TRAINING PROGRAMME INVOLVEMENT
I strongly believe in training new creative prospects in all things sound, helping create a competitive and expansive film industry - specifically trying to grow the creative communites in local regions across Scotland. Crowhort 2 - SHOULDER DEEP
Abderdeen (Scotland) DECEMBER 2024
I had a blast working with Crow House Projects for their 2nd Crowhort 'Shoulder Deep', a great dark comedy about a veterinary practice in Aberdeenshire. The amazing cast and crew were made up of local professionals and trainees, helping build a community in the North East of Scotland to give people that are interested in the creative industry a foot in the door - and real on-set experience. It's really important work, and the more cities and towns across Scotland that have setups as good as this one, the stronger and higher quality our creative film sector in Scotland can be.
Big thanks to my sound trainees on set - Doug, Noah and a little bit of Rory - who learned and adapted so quickly on the job, and could easily start a career in sound. If anyone local to Aberdeen is interested in reaching out for experience, Crow House is such a great place to get your film career moving!
